The Office of the Institute Secretary serves as the principal governance and legal advisory office of UNITE. The Institute Secretary is the Secretary to the UNITE Council and its committees, responsible for organizing Council meetings, maintaining official records of Council decisions, and ensuring that governance processes comply with the UOTIA and UNITE's governing instruments. The office provides legal guidance to management, handles matters of institutional compliance, manages official correspondence, and ensures the proper custody of legal documents and agreements. The Institute Secretary also facilitates communication between Top Management and the Council, and advises on institutional policy and regulatory matters. The office plays a central role in upholding good governance, transparency, and accountability across the Institute.
